The HoofSolutions Hoof Cap provides a protective covering for the application of medication to an abscess, sole bruise, hoof wall crack, or a systemic infection (bacteria, fungal invasion) of the hoof capsule. Serves as a barrier between the hoof's injury and environmental factors. Made of surgical grade high density felt, the Hoof Cap is durable and reusable under reasonable conditions. The Hoof Cap covers the sole surface of the hoof, up to the coronary band on the anterior of the hoof, the bulbs of the heel, and the back of the pastern. Used in conjunction with the Hoof Solutions Orthopedic Poultice Pad or a medicated dressing.
